A Once-In-A-Lifetime Exhibition Presenting fiber artist Jiyoung Chung, Master of the Art of Paper, derived from the traditional Korean Art of Joomchi, and blended with a uniquely-contemporary artistic voice, creating textured, colorful, dimensional wall pieces. In addition to the handmade paper pieces by Jiyoung, we are presenting 10 pieces by her famous textile artist Mother, Chunghie Lee, whose expertise in Korean "Pojagi" (wrapping cloth) extends to her simple but aesthetically impressive "costume" jackets and tops.
Please visit this weekend's trunkshow on our website, www.santafeweavinggallery.com/trunkshow. We will add dimensions on Thursday morning, as Jiyoung installs these beautiful treasures. If you are interested in pricing, please call us on our toll-free number, 866-982-1737.
Jiyoung is in Santa Fe through early afternoon, Saturday, and will deliver a slide lecture Thursday afternoon at 7pm, at the Santa Fe Art Institute, free and open to the public!

The Santa Fe Weaving Gallery seeks to showcase the work of small studio artists and designers who hew to the relevance of the handmade in a highly-fabricated world, and who push us to dress and to move through the world in an individualistic way. If you see something that catches your eye--call us quick. These are one-of-a-kind pieces, and we'll be happy to describe, give you lengths, and fit information. 866-982-1737
